Earth Month is here, and we're excited to celebrate sustainability, community, and waste reduction with a series of fun and impactful events. From book swaps to cleanups and in-store celebrations, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Mark your calendars and join us!
📚 Sunday, April 6 – Cook Book Exchange at Mission Refill
Give your cookbooks a second life and discover new culinary inspiration at our free community cookbook swap! Cooking is about sharing stories, flavors, and traditions, and this event is the perfect way to connect with fellow food lovers.
How It Works:

Drop Off in Advance: Bring up to 4 gently used cookbooks to Mission Refill between April 1-5 and receive one ticket per donated book.

Books must be in good condition and published within the last 10 years.

No magazines or outdated books, please!

Only bring books if you plan to attend the swap.

Swap Day: Sunday, April 6 at 11 AM-12 PM.

First choice goes to ticket holders, so arrive early for the best selection!

Starting at 12 PM, the event opens to all, no tickets required.

Any unclaimed books will be donated locally. Stay until the end for extra picks!
🌎 Saturday, April 19 – Beautify Goleta Earth Day Celebration
We will be joining the City of Goleta for their Earth Day community cleanup and celebration at Evergreen Park (Evergreen Drive & Hillview Drive) from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Help keep Goleta clean while enjoying fun activities for all ages!
What to Expect:

Community Cleanup: Pick up trash with supplies provided by the City, or bring your own.

Free Coffee & Donuts (bring a reusable cup!)

Elubia’s Food Truck: Delicious food for purchase (bring your own utensils!).
